The beginnings of 4x4 Bassline Garage. Back in 2003 I took all of the dark new tunes I could find and shoved them onto one mix cd called darkside vol1. At the time a lot of this stuff was considered too dark and mad for club play. Over the next couple of years 4x4 Bassline infiltrated the bassline scene and by 2005/6 it had pretty much taken it over..at least in sheffield.
